Bichon Email Archive

Availability: This integration is for the operator's private use. The Bichon application is protected by identity-aware access controls and is not offered to the public.

Google access requested

ScopeReason
https://mail.google.com/Connect to Gmail through IMAP, retrieve messages, folders or labels, metadata and attachments for archiving, and support operator-initiated restoration where explicitly requested.

This is a broad Gmail scope. Normal automated operation downloads and indexes mail for archival use. Bichon's restoration functions may write messages back to Gmail only when the operator explicitly invokes them.

Data processing

Retention and deletion

The local archive is retained while it is useful to the operator. Gmail remains the authoritative source. OAuth access can be revoked without changing the Google password, and the local archive can be rebuilt or removed independently. See data removal for instructions.

Bichon is covered by the shared privacy policy and terms of service. Questions may be sent to dazza12@gmail.com.
